- How do I use Maxiis web mail?
Step 1: Open Internet Explorer
or whatever your current web browser is and type this address:
www.maxiis.com, into the
address bar. For your convenience, you can also right click
on the address above and left click on Open in New
Window. This will open an additional browser window with the
Maxiis home page that looks like the one below. Click on
the Mailbox button found under the D-Max logo at the top
of the page.

Step 2: Clicking on Mailbox
should bring you to the login page. Type your username
and password into the appropriate box and click Login or enter
on your keyboard. You can check the box labeled Remember my
settings for this computer. However, saving your passwords
on your computer can be a security issue if your computer is
compromised by a virus or malware.

Step 3: Logging in will bring you to
the Account Summary page. Click on Options in the
lower right hand corner. Since this is the first time that you
have logged on the the Web Mail, some setup will be
necessary to customize the program for your use.

Step 4: This will take you to the
Settings screen. In the box labeled Friendly Name,
type your name as you want it to appear to everyone who gets an
email from you. Most people use their full name, but you can use
any name - even a nickname or business name - that people
recognize.
Next, make sure that the boxes labeled
Move deleted messages to 'Deleted Items' folder, Clear
deleted items on Log Out, Compose and view messages in a
new windows are NOT checked.
Now, click on the down arrow next to the box
labeled Startup Page and choose Inbox.
Next, move down to the area labeled
Regional Settings. In the box labeled Time Zone, find
(GMT -06:00) Central Time (US & Canada) and click on it.
This will ensure that the emails that you send and receive have
the proper time stamp.
Lastly, Click on Update at the bottom
of the page and then on Folders in the choices to the
right.

Step 5: This is the page you will see
whenever you log in. Your received emails will appear in
this upper window . To view the contents of the email, click on
it.

Step 6: The contents of the email will
display in the window below. Options to Compose, Reply,
Forward and Delete are found above the Inbox email
list.

Step 7: To compose an email, enter the
email address you would like to send an email to in the box
labeled To...: . Enter the subject of your email in the
box labeled Subject: . Type in your email message in the
text box and click Send. Congratulations, you've sent an
email message! Once you're done using Web Mail, click on the
Logout button in the lower right hand corner of the window.

Step 8: The Log Out window will
appear. To exit Web Mail, click Yes.
